– 2000가구에 10만원씩 계좌입급…경기사회복지공동모금회 지정기탁 성금 활용 –
[강남 소비자저널=최규태 기자] 용인특례시(시장 이상일)는 올해 추석 명절을 앞두고 지역내 저소득 가정 2000가구에 ‘추석 명절 지원비’를 지원한다고 23일 밝혔다.
지원 규모는 총 2억원으로, 시는 저소득층 가정의 생활 안정과 훈훈한 명절 분위기 조성을 위해 특별지원을 결정했다. 지원금은 경기사회복지공동모금회에 용인특례시로 지정 기탁된 이웃돕기 성금을 활용한다.
지원 대상은 기준 중위소득 120% 이하의 저소득 가정으로, 각 읍·면·동에서 추천을 받았다. 지원금은 경기사회복지공동모금회를 통해 26일까지 가구당 10만원씩 지원 대상자 계좌로 지급된다.
시 관계자는 “명절을 맞아 어려움을 겪는 저소득 취약계층 가계의 부담을 줄여주기 위해 추석 명절비를 지원키로 결정했다”며 “어려운 이웃들이 따뜻한 온정을 느끼며 명절을 보내시길 바란다”고 말했다.
