탁계석 회장: K-Classic 100인 명예감독 위촉이  완성되었다ㆍ박종휘 총예술감독의 노력에 감사하다. 각 나라 명예감독들의 반응은 어떤가?

이를 위해 열 번 이상 화상통화를 하기도 했다. K-Classic 조직위원회의 앞으로 교류에 대해 설명했다. 한국이 140년 넘게 서양음악이 도입되어 비약적인 발전을 해서 음악가들이 국제 콩쿠르에서 큰 성과를 거두었다. 한국에는 오랜 전통문화가 있고, ‘국악’이란 고유의 음악이 지구상에서 가장 잘 보존되어 있고 학교 등의 교육시스템이 발달되어 있다. 따라서 K-Classic의 우수한 예술 콘텐츠를 지구촌 사람과 나누고 싶다. 관계하는 상대방 나라의 문화에도 깊은 관심이 있다.
For this, I held more than ten video calls. The K-Classic Organizing explained about exchanges. In Korea, Western music has been introduced for over 140 years and has developed rapidly, and korea musicians have achieved great results in international competitions. Korea has a long tradition of culture, the unique music called ‘gugak’ is best preserved on the planet, and the education system such as schools is developed.
 

박: 인터뷰를 해보면 지휘자 중에는 이중국적을 가진 지휘자들이 많았다. 어떤 분들은 국가를 정 할 때 이중국적기를 넣어달라는 경우도 있었다, 그리고 내가 스페인어를 구사하는 것 때문인지 스페인 명예지휘자들이 12명이나 된다. 어떤 경우든 말의 소통이 중요한 것 같다. 
Vakh: When I interviewed, many conductors had dual citizenship. Some people asked me to include a dual national flag when selecting a country, and because I speak Spanish, there are 12 Spanish honorary conductors. In any case, verbal communication seems to be important.

탁: 상호교류의 플랫폼이 만들어지면, 각자 자기 나라의 음악들이 소개가 될 것 같다. 우선 남아메리카의 현대음악 작곡가와 작품은?
Tak: When a platform for mutual exchange is created, it seems  that music from their own country will be introduced. First of all, who are the composers and What are the works of contemporary music in South America?

박:남미의 많은 현대 작곡가들이 세계로 뻗어나가고 있다. 엘 시스테마를 비롯해 청소년오케스트라 활동이 가장 활발하고 페스티벌 공연이 많다. 대표적인 작곡가는 브라질(Villa Lobos), 아르헨티나(피아졸라(Astor Piazolla,Alberto Ginastera), 멕시코(Arturo Márquez. Manuel Ponce), 파라과이(Agustín Pío Barrios Mangoré. Luis Szaran), 콜롬비아(Gentil Montaña) 등이다.

 Vakh : Many contemporary composers from South America are spreading out to the world. Youth orchestra like El Sistema are the most active and do lots of festival performances. Representative composers are Brazil (Villa Lobos), Argentina (Astor Piazolla, Alberto Ginastera), Mexico (Arturo Márquez. Manuel Ponce), Paraguay (Agustín Pío Barrios Mangoré. Luis Szaran), and Colombia (Gentil Montaña).

탁: 지휘자들은 어디에 소속인가? 활동과 주된 작업은?
Tak: Where do the conductors belong? What are your activities and main tasks?

박: 지휘자들은 프로 오케스트라 지휘자들이다. 오페라 전문지휘자. 합창지휘자. 청소년을 위한 지휘자. 밴드 지휘자와 전통 오케스트라 지휘자, 또 대학 교직에서 활동하는 지휘자. 작곡가 겸 지휘자 그리고 매니저를 하면서 공연하는 지휘자들이다. 스웨덴 지휘자는 콜롬비아 보고타 필하모닉 지휘자이다. 파라과이 지휘자는 아순시온 시립교향악단. 스위스 지휘자는 아르헨티나 산후안 주립교향악단 및 여러 오케스트라 지휘자들과 대학 교수들이다.
 Vakh: The conductors are professional orchestra conductors. Opera conductor. choral conductor. Conductor for youth. A band conductor, a traditional orchestra conductor, and a conductor working in a university teaching position. These are the conductors who perform while acting as composer, conductor, and manager.

The Swedish conductor is the conductor of the Colombia Bogota Philharmonic The Paraguayan conductor is the Asuncion Municipal Symphony Orchestra. The Swiss conductors are the conductors of the Argentine San Juan State Symphony Orchestra and several orchestras, as well as university professors.

The Syrian conductor  is  the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra. The Lebanese conductor is the Lebanese National Symphony Orchestra. The Egyptian conductor consist is  the Egyptian National Opera. Russian conductors consist of the conductors of the Astrakhan State Theater and the orchestra conductors of each city. Italian conductors consist of  conductors theater and Professor at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory. Portuguese conductors consist of  professors at the Portuguese Conservatory and orchestra conductors in each city and  Conductor of the Municipal Symphony Orchestra. Brazilian conductors include the conductors of the São Paulo Philharmonic and several city orchestras. Turkish Conductor is a Turkish city orchestra conductor. Conductors in Mexico are conductors of several orchestras in Mexican cities. Cuban conductor is orchestra in Cuba. Conductors in the United States consist of university orchestras and orchestra conductors in each city. The Ecuadorian conductor consist of the conductor of each city’s municipal symphony orchestra. The Spanish conductors consist of orchestra conductors and composers in each city.

탁: 모든 나라가 팬데믹으로 고통을 받으면서도 연주를 멈추지 않고 있다. 오는 7월 중순 청소년 콩쿠르로 젊은 우승자 음악가들의 콘서트가 이태리에서 열리는데 소개를 해달라.

Tak: Even though all countries are suffering from the pandemic, they do not stop playing. In mid-July, a youth concert will be held in Italy by young winners of contest of musicians, please introduce yourself.

박: 이태리 정부의 후원으로 Samnium 대학에서 주최하는 오케스트라 콩쿨이다. 약 60개국에서 콩쿠르에 참가했다. 본인도 여기에 심사를 하면서 젊은이들의 훌륭한 재능을 보았는데 심사하기가 너무 어려울 만큼 모두가 뛰어났다. 1등과 2등에겐 상금이 부과되었고 이들로 구성된 약 80명의 단원들이 이태리에서 7월 로마와 베네벤토 공연을. 19일엔 비엔나 무지크페라홀에서 공연하는 스케쥴이다. 이들 오케스트라는 한국 공연에 가고 싶어 한다. 기회가 마련되면 좋겠다. K-Classic이 역할을 해 준다면 감사하겠다.

Vakh: This is an orchestra competition hosted by Samnium University with the support of the Italian government. About 60 countries participated in the competition. When I was judging here myself, I saw the great talents of young people, and they were all so good that it was too difficult to judge. Prize money was given to the 1st and 2nd places, and about 80 members of them performed in Rome and Benevento in July in Italy. On the 19th, it is scheduled to perform at the Musikpera Hall in Vienna. These orchestras olso want to participate in a Korean performance. I wish there was an opportunity. I would be grateful if K-Classic could play a role.

박: 나는 내년 심사위원. 지도교수로 1월 초에는 로스앤젤레스  WMU 대학에서 지휘 마스터 클래스와 지휘자 콩쿨이 예정되어 있다. 1등에겐 상금과 파라과이 국립교향악단 객원지휘자로 초청 받는다. 내년 4월엔 상파울로에서 국제 지휘 콩쿨. 7월엔 우즈베키스탄에서 국제 콩쿨 그리고 러시아 아스트라한에서도 국제 콩쿨이 개최 예정이다.

Vakh : I Will be the jury and teaching professor conductting master class and conducting contest scheduled WMU University in Los Angels in next January.

For 1st place the winner,money and invitation as guest conductor of Paraguay National Symphony Orchestra be given. In April next year, international conducting competition in Sao Paulo. In July, an international competition will be held in Uzbekistan and in Astrakhan, Russia.

탁: 이번 이태리 초청에 감사한다. 코로나19로 가지 못해 미안하다ㆍ집행부 관계자들에게 감사를 전해주기 바란다. 그리고 ‘아마존의 눈물’, 은 소프라노와 관현악을 위한 작품인데, 내년에 남미투어를 위해서다. 그곳의 지휘자들과 접촉에 수고를 해주기 바란다.

Tak: Thank you for this invitation to Italy. I’m sorry I couldn’t go due to COVID-19, and I want to thank the executives. And ‘Tears of the Amazon’ is a work for soprano and orchestra, for a tour in South America next year. Please try to contact the conductors there. I would be grateful if K-Classic could play a role.

박: 저는 10월 말경에 멕시코시티에서 1시간 거리에 있는 Pachuca 오케스트라 그리고 Tlalnepantla 쳄버 오케스트라 공연, 11월 중순에는 에콰도르 로하심포니 오케스트라 및 쿠엥카대학 오케스트라 객원 지휘 및 또 12월엔 아르헨티나 북쪽에 위치하는 차코 주립교향악단, 내년엔 에콰도르에 있는 시립교향악단을 지휘할 예정이다. 브라질 상파울로 필하모닉 객원 지휘 예정과 국제 지휘 콩쿨 심사위원.  아르헨티나 주립교향악단. 칠레 시립교향단 객원 등도 잡혀있다.
 Vakh: At the en of October , I plan to conduct a concert with the Pachuca Orchestra and The Tlalnepantla chamber orchestra, wich are an hour away from Mexico City , and I will go to Conducting with Loja Symphony orchestra and Cuenca University Symphony Orchestra on Noviembre in Ecuador and Cuenca University Symphony Orchestra on Noviembre in Ecuador and The Chaco stage Symphony Orchestra located in Northern Argentina in December, and next year the City Symphony Orchestra in Ecuador. Willing to conduct as a guest conductor at the Philharmonic in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a jury member of the International Conducting Competition. Argentine State Symphony Orchestra. Chilean Municipal Symphony Orchestra guests are also in attendance.

‘아마존의 눈물’ 작품이 완성 되면  브라질에서 공연이 아주 좋을 듯하다.

그 때의 시기는 코로나가 잠잠해질 것이니까 아주 효과를 누릴 수가 있을 것 같다.  브라질에서 시작해 5군데 정도에서 공연이 이루어지면 좋겠다. 

When the production of ‘Tears of the Amazon’ is completed. it seems that  the performance in Brazil world l be very good. At that time, the corona will be quiet, so it seems to be very effective. Starting in Brazil, I hope the performances will be held in about five places.

탁: 계속 K-Classic 의 발전이 세계와 인류에 공헌할 수 있도록 협력을 바란다ㆍ
 Tak: I hope that the development of K-Classic will continue to contribute to the world and humanity.

박: 이번 8월에 프랑스 국제 음악 페스티빌 초청으로 지휘하게 된다. 프랑스에 Petites mains symphonique가 한국 순화 곻연 때 K-Classic에서 협력으로 도아주면 좋겠다. 그리고 2023년 한국에서 심포지움을 열어 100명의 명예지휘자를 10일간 초청하는 계획은 아주 획기적이고 놀라운 일이 될 것 같다. 누구도 시도해 본적이 없는 글로벌 행사다. 이들이 한국을 방문하여 한국문화를 알고. 전통음악을 듣고, 한국음식을 맛보면서 한국의 문화를 전파하는 역할을 하는 것이니까 관광에서도 빅 이벤트로 관심을 끌기에 충분하지 않겠는가. 아주 멋진 기회가 될 것이라고 확신한다.
명예 지휘자들의 활동과 일들을 많이 소개하고, 그들과 교류를 하면서 한국과 더 친해지는 것에, K-Classic이 역할을 하게 된 것을 매우 자랑스럽게 생각한다.

Vakh: This August, I will be conducting at Normandy by invitation of the French International Music Festival. At this time, K-Classic should be widely known.

French Petites mains symphonique look performance in korea, I hope K-Classic Institue will help them to do that. And the plan to hold a symposium in Korea in 2023 and invite 100 honorary conductors for 10 days seems to be a very epochal and surprising thing. It is a global event that no one has ever tried before. They visit Korea and get to know Korean culture. Listening to traditional music, tasting Korean food, and spreading Korean culture, wouldn’t it be enough to attract attention as a big event in tourism? I’m sure it will be a great opportunity.I am very proud that K-Classic has played a role in introducing many of the activities and tasks of honorary conductors and interacting with them and getting closer to Korea.
