The chief conductor is Maestro Juan Carlos Dos Santos and founder of the College of Music at Asunción National University.

The National Symphony Orchestra has been in operation for 18 years since its inception, and its members are: Paraguay, Spain, Argentina, Venezuela, Bolivia; Portugal; and 90 musicians. It is a pity that there is no official national theater yet, and although the orchestra wanted to tour Korea, it was not easy because of Covid-19, and it is preparing to go when it is an opportunity.
