– 관내 8257면 이용자에게 바른주차 안내문자 발송, 위반시 부정주차요금 부과 –
[강남 소비자저널=김은정 기자] 강남구(구청장 신연희)는 오는 21일까지 관내 거주자우선주차 구획의 바른주차 계도기간을 갖고 익일부터 소방 출동을 방해하는 거주자우선주차 차량을 집중 단속한다고 11일 밝혔다.
대형 화재 시마다 드러난 긴급 출동차량 진입 지연의 문제점을 개선하기 위해 소방차량 통행로 확보에 적극 나선 것이다.
이번 바른주차 계도대상은 8257개 거주자우선주차 구획 이용자이다.
구는 계도기간 동안 전 이용자를 대상으로‘바른주차 안내 홍보문자’를 발송해 거주자우선주차 구획선을 벗어나지 않는 올바른 주차질서 준수를 안내하고 긴급출동 소방차량 통행에 방해되지 않도록 협조와 동참을 당부한다.
계도기간이 끝나는 오는 22일부터 구획선을 벗어난 거주자우선주차 구획 주차 차량은 집중단속 대상으로적발 시 부정주차요금(1만 800원)과 견인료(승용차 4만~6만원)를 부과할 예정이다.
한편, 구는 지난해 자체계획을 수립해 이면도로 통행에 불편을 주는 230면의 거주자우선 주차구획을 삭선하고, 강남소방서 요청에 따른 소방활동 방해 주차구획 7면을 삭선하고 1면을 위치조정하는 등 소방차량 통행에 불편이 없도록 적극 협조하고 있다.
더불어 이면도로 등 불법주차 차량을 대상으로 계도 및 단속을 꾸준히 추진해 주민생활 불편을 최소화 하고, 지난 한 해 42만 5000건의 불법주차 단속 및 1만 1700건의 거주자우선주차장 부정주차 단속을 추진하여 도심지 교통소통에도 일조하고 있다.
신연희 강남구청장은 “8257면 거주자우선주차장의 이용자에 대한 바른주차 홍보 후에도 도로 폭이 좁은 곳에 설치된 거주자우선주차 구역의 바른주차 홍보·단속을 지속적으로 추진 할 것”이라며, “소방차량이 원활이 통행할 수 있도록 주차면 조정도 적극 추진해 안전1번지 강남 건설의 고삐를 늦추지 않겠다 ”고 말했다.
